About the position

The Showroom Sales Representative at F. Schumacher & Co. plays a vital role in enhancing the client experience and driving sales within the luxury interior design market. This position involves engaging with clients, managing orders, and building relationships with interior designers while promoting Schumacher's extensive range of high-quality products. The representative is expected to analyze market opportunities, provide exceptional customer service, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and sales success.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, track, and follow up on all client orders.
  • Analyze the territory and identify growth opportunities for existing and new accounts.
  • Engage with new interior designers and maintain relationships with existing clientele.
  • Place and follow up on customer orders; work with internal Support Teams to troubleshoot client issues.
  • Keep showroom accounts up-to-date on new products and offerings through targeted outreach.
  • Partner with clients to explore and identify all needs within each project.
  • Expand knowledge of Schumacher collections to become a trusted expert.
  • Build a strong customer following through consistent delivery of high-quality service.
  • Utilize and expand Schumacher's presence through online and digital channels.
  • Partner closely with a Schumacher Account Executive to ensure client and sales success.
  • Maximize sales of all luxury brands and product categories in the territory.
  • Establish the Schumacher brand and presence in the Virginia territory.
  • Provide the best possible customer service while enhancing Schumacher's mission.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design industry.
  • Exceptional selling skills and ability to manage client expectations.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts and building client relationships.
