About the position

The Showroom Sales Representative at Bedrosians Tile and Stone is responsible for engaging with retail clients and industry professionals to promote the company's product line. This role emphasizes high standards of customer service, professionalism, and effective communication throughout the sales process. The representative will educate clients on products, manage orders, and work collaboratively to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their orders
• Promote the Bedrosians product line
• Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines
• Develop relationships with industry professionals to increase business
• Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace
• Maintain showroom and sample department organization and presentation
• Assist branch in meeting monthly sales quotas
• Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management
• Work cooperatively in a team environment
• Participate in weekly branch meetings
• Upsell clients when possible
• Work within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals and directives
• Perform any other duties required of the position

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent and professional phone skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive, willing to take the extra step
• Possesses a flexible work schedule
• Understanding of design and color preferred

Nice-to-haves

• College Degree or equivalent
• Design Degree is a plus
• Prior experience in the tile and stone industry is a plus
• Design experience is a plus
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
