About the position

The Showroom Sales Representative at East Coast Fireplace & Sweeps is responsible for engaging with customers in a showroom environment, assisting them in selecting fireplace and outdoor living products, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves achieving sales targets, providing design assistance, and maintaining customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing expert advice on fireplace and outdoor living products.
• Learn and maintain a deep understanding of product lines, including gas and wood fireplaces, mantels, and outdoor grills.
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets through effective consultation and relationship-building.
• Collaborate with customers on product selection and design, ensuring their vision becomes a reality.
• Maintain communication with customers post-visit to ensure satisfaction and secure future business.
• Work closely with the installation team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail sales, design consultation, or a related field is preferred.
• Passion for home improvement, interior design, or outdoor living spaces.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn technical product specifications and explain them to customers.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs; experience with CRM software is a plus.
