About the position

As a Showroom Sales Representative at Bedrosians Tile and Stone, you will assist clients with their project needs by providing design suggestions and application recommendations. Your role is to ensure a seamless shopping experience, nurture relationships with industry professionals, and close sales while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their orders
• Promote the Bedrosians product line
• Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines
• Develop relationships with industry professionals to increase business
• Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace
• Assist with conducting inventory counts
• Maintain showroom and sample department organization and presentation
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits if required
• Review on order report daily
• Meet monthly sales quotas
• Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management
• Work cooperatively in team environment
• Participate in weekly branch meetings
• Write thank-you notes to clients
• Upsell clients when possible
• Focus on increasing sales to meet branch sales plan
• Work within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals and directives
• Perform any other duties required of the position

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Positive attitude
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent and professional phone skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Excellent understanding of design and color
• Possess a flexible work schedule
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience in the tile and stone industry is a plus
• Design experience is a plus
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
