About The Position

The Showroom Staging Associate plays a crucial role in assisting the Visual Merchandising Coordinator with product merchandising and maintaining the showroom's visual appeal. This position involves physically implementing layout changes and ensuring that the showroom is well-organized and visually appealing, contributing to the overall success of the Visual Merchandising department at CITY Furniture.

Requirements

• Ability to work with basic tools (hammer, screwdrivers, allen wrenches)
• Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours a day
• Highly organized with a high attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently with little direct supervision
• Comfortable with heights (12ft ladder)
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting and the use of ladders
• Valid FL Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required
• Additional languages such as Creole, Portuguese, etc. are a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in the product transition process for all product categories on display
• Assist Visual Merchandising Coordinator with heavy lifting, hanging chandeliers, and building newly delivered furniture
• Support VMC by receiving, unpacking, and tagging of accessories
• Ensure proper installation of all product categories (rugs, lamps, chandeliers, power motion and electronics)
• Maintain the showroom (interior and exterior)
• Collaborate with all Associates to ensure the success of the organization
