Shuttle Driver 2nd shift

About the position

The position involves operating a Class A yard horse or tractor trailer to shuttle trailers between warehouses. The work is primarily scheduled in the afternoon to evening hours, with potential for overtime. The role requires a valid CDL and a clean driving record, emphasizing safety and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A yard horse or tractor trailer to shuttle trailers in the yard and between warehouses.
• Perform work generally between 12 pm and 8:30 pm, 5 days per week.
• Manage up to 2 hours of overtime per day as required.

Requirements

• Valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in the state of residence.
• Minimum 2 years of recent verifiable CDL A experience.
• No more than four moving violations in the past 36 months.
• No more than two moving violations in the previous 12 months.
• No driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs for the past five years.
• No preventable accidents involving fatalities or serious injuries within three years.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Experience with refrigerated (reefer) trailers preferred.
