About the position
The position involves performing shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle, which includes loading and unloading aircraft and vehicles, as well as sorting packages. Responsibilities
- Perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle.
- Load and unload aircraft and vehicles.
- Sort packages.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
- Ability to work with power and hand tools.
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
- Effective verbal communication in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- State-issued driver's license for the past 3 years with no gaps, suspensions, or interruptions.
- Required to obtain a CDL within 60 days of starting in the position.
