About the position

The Senior Plant Engineer at TriRx Shawnee LLC is a key technical professional responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing process solutions. This role involves leading projects, providing engineering support for production and process equipment, and collaborating with various departments to enhance production processes and system reliability. The engineer will also coach junior team members and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing process solutions.
• Lead projects and provide guidance to peers.
• Direct projects or discipline teams to meet customer needs.
• Provide direct engineering support for Production & Process Equipment.
• Collaborate with Product Supply personnel to understand production processes and initiate improvements.
• Manage capital projects and track budgets.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, cGMP's, FDA and EU guidelines.
• Review and approve standard operating procedures for validation activities.
• Participate in risk analyses for qualifications and validations.
• Support the development of specifications and design of equipment and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a basic engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Chemical Engineering).
• Minimum six years of experience in plant engineering in a manufacturing environment or equivalent knowledge base with ten plus years in the industry.
• Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical production processes and equipment.
• Ability to think independently and develop unique solutions to problems.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in computer literacy and active listening skills.
