About the position

The Second in Command (SIC) for the Phenom 300 at Jet Linx Aviation is responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. This full-time position is based in Dallas, TX, and requires the candidate to be within a 2-hour call-out time from their home base. The SIC reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and plays a crucial role in managing flight operations and ensuring all necessary protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft.
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times according to company and CFR requirements.
• Maintain communication with the company for standby duty assignments and trip notifications.
• Manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
• Convey strong, proactive decision-making skills.
• Demonstrate Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.

Requirements

• Total Time - 1500 hours
• Total PIC - 500 hours
• Total Multi-Engine - 500 hours
• Total PIC Multi-Engine - 25 hours
• Total Turbine - 100 hours
• Total Instrument - 150 hours
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• Current 1st Class medical certificate
• Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Current passport
• ATP (ability to obtain ATP)
• FCC Restricted Radio License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required
• Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
• Ability to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
