About the position

The Siemens Energy Graduate Program for Technical Program Managers is designed for recent graduates or those with limited work experience, aiming to develop future leaders and innovators in the energy sector. Over a two-year period, participants will engage in hands-on projects, receive mentorship, and gain a comprehensive understanding of Siemens Energy's operations, while working on meaningful global issues related to sustainability and energy transition.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project management of technical issues related to generators, gas turbines, and steam turbines to resolve significant product issues.
  • Define and manage the scope of issues to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develop schedule and budget risk mitigation plans, and control to program requirements.
  • Conduct risk management and develop mitigations to minimize non-conformance costs and impacts on availability/reliability.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, solution development, and verification activities.

Requirements

  • Significant practical work experience up to 36 months, including internships or employment.
  • A master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills in a team environment.
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working.
  • Excellent English skills to work in a multi-cultural environment.
