About the position

The SIGINT Systems Engineer at Sciolex Corporation plays a crucial role in guiding the evolution of SIGINT programs, integrating modern commercial trends such as Agile development and Cloud migration. This position involves providing technical expertise and support to the Government Program Management Office, ensuring the successful implementation and operation of SIGINT systems. The engineer will work within a dynamic team to enhance system capabilities and address challenges, contributing to the overall mission of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Guide new and existing SIGINT programs in alignment with commercial trends like Agile development and Cloud migration.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and agile best practices to the team.
  • Coordinate CONOPS of SIGINT mission planning and scheduling systems.
  • Write and translate requirements into Epics/Features based on customer needs.
  • Understand system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator.
  • Evaluate system designs and trade-space proposed by developers in coordination with acquisition offices.
  • Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Monitor system and segment schedules, recognizing dependencies.
  • Identify risks and opportunities.
  • Facilitate readiness, release planning events, and demonstrations in support of system and acquisition-level sprints and increments.
  • Review Request for Changes (RFCs) and identify impacts, authoring RFCs for the customer.
  • Support Agile and DevOps automated test and verification (V&V).
  • Integrate new systems and initiatives to expand SIGINT mission planning and scheduling capabilities.
  • Participate in studies for future generation SIGINT capabilities.
  • Develop architecture products.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
  • Nine (9) years or more of experience in systems engineering.
  • Two (2) years of experience with space/ground aerospace systems engineering/architecting.
  • Familiarity with SIGINT ground customer and technical familiarity with mission control and/or processing of SIGINT systems.
  • Proven communication skills, especially with senior government officials (Lt Colonel and above).
  • Integration and closure experience within the overall customer domain.
  • Willingness to learn new areas.
  • Commitment to operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.
