About the position

The X-Ray Technologist at Fast Pace Health plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a friendly and supportive environment. This position involves operating X-Ray equipment, preparing exam rooms, and performing nursing duties, all while adhering to the company's core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, and quality care. The ideal candidate will also engage in training new hires and participate in community outreach programs, contributing to the overall mission of improving healthcare delivery in rural communities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
  • Measure and record patients' vital signs, draw blood, give injections, and perform clinical tasks.
  • Operate or oversee the operation of X-Ray equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is in proper operating condition.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
  • Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider.
  • Complete all required preceptor training to onboard and train new hires.
  • Engage with Learning and Development to manage onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Facilitate welcome and introductions for new employees on their first day in the clinic.
  • Establish a training plan and review training schedule with new hires.
  • Submit weekly evaluations on trainee's progress to Learning and Development.
  • Communicate training progress or concerns to operations leadership and Learning and Development.
  • Complete final evaluation and Proof of Proficiency form on final training day.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting or Urgent Care.
  • Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist License for Indiana residents.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
