The Signage Print and Production Manager at Image360 - North Tampa is responsible for overseeing the production processes in a busy sign and graphics company. This hands-on role requires managing daily operations, ensuring quality and efficiency in the production of various signage products, and balancing managerial duties with production work. The ideal candidate will lead a team, optimize workflows, and maintain equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring the efficient workflow of printing, cutting, and finishing of signage projects.
• Operate and maintain printing equipment, such as wide-format printers, plotters, laminators, and cutting machines.
• Manage production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Supervise a team of production staff, including training, task delegation, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with sales and design teams to understand project requirements and provide accurate production timelines.
• Review printed products for color accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
• Monitor supplies, materials, and equipment; place orders as needed to prevent shortages.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and work with service technicians for repairs.
• Continuously improve production processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a signage, printing, or graphics production environment.
• Proven experience in operating wide-format printers, plotters, laminators, and other production equipment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team in a production setting.
• Excellent understanding of printing techniques, color management, and file preparation.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
• Proficiency in design software and Rip software is required.
• Knowledge of signage materials and substrates (e.g., vinyl, acrylic, aluminum) and their applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
