About the position

The Signal Integrity Engineer will be a key member of the hardware design team at Nokia, focusing on supporting new product development. This role involves applying theoretical knowledge and practical skills to ensure high-speed signal integrity in various electronic components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-layout simulations and provide recommendations.
• Perform test board and test structure measurement and analysis.
• Interpret IEEE documents related to signal integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in signal integrity or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including high-speed real-time oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers.
• Proficiency in analysis and simulation tools such as HSpice, HFSS, Matlab, and scripting.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of PAM4 signaling and its characteristics.
• Understanding of receiver Front End Conditioning and Analog DSP.
• Familiarity with Forward Error Correction Codes and their applications.
• Experience with various types of analog filters (CTLE responses).
