About the position

The Signal Integrity Engineer will be a key member of the hardware design team, focusing on supporting new product development through signal integrity analysis. This role involves working with high-speed designs and ensuring optimal performance through rigorous testing and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Support board designers by performing Signal Integrity analysis on new and existing designs.
• Conduct pre-layout simulations and provide recommendations.
• Perform measurements and analysis using high-speed real-time oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers.
• Interpret IEEE documents related to signal integrity and testing.
• Analyze test board and test structure measurements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in signal integrity analysis.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and measurements using high-speed real-time oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers.
• Proficient with analysis and simulation tools such as HSpice, HFSS, and Matlab.
• Knowledge of theoretical basis, equations, and mechanisms of PCB trace loss.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PAM4 signaling and receiver front-end conditioning.
• Familiarity with analog DSP and forward error correction codes.
• Scripting skills for automation of analysis processes.
