About the position

The Signal Integrity Lab Administrator at Cisco is responsible for managing all materials in and out of the lab, facilitating measurement and modeling of test vehicles, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires expertise in lab administration, organization, and communication, as well as the ability to implement new tools and processes effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all material in and out of the lab and facilitate measurement and modeling of test vehicles and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain chemical safety cabinet inventory and MSDS catalog, ensuring chemical disposal is according to safety regulations.
  • Manage safety audits and ISO9000 inspections, ensuring lab compliance at all times.
  • Inventory, catalog, purchase, and maintain Microwave probe stock, regularly inspecting and shipping probes for cleaning and repair.
  • Manage and maintain lab support consumables including cables, adapters, and terminations required for lab measurements and analysis.
  • Manage and maintain lab instruments and equipment inventory, including repairs and calibration management.
  • Maintain stock of lab consumable materials including adhesives, abrasives, lubricants, and tools necessary for lab functionality.
  • Perform routine material cross-sections on PCBs and packaging substrates to sustain lab analysis.
  • Generate and document procedures for regular lab processes including Cross-Sections, polishing, and SEM inspection.
  • Manage outside vendor analysis including Purchase Order management and coordinate sample delivery and pick-up.
  • Coordinate and manage lab equipment inventory including RF-ID tag assignment and location tracking.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in Lab Administration
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert organizational skills
  • Proficient with EXCEL and Microsoft Word
  • Proficient in soldering and basic rework
  • ISO Training
  • Experience with ISO audit process
