About the position

SAIC is seeking a Signals Intelligence Subject Matter Expert to support the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Support team in North Charleston, SC. The role involves providing technical support and expertise in SIGINT operations, including research and development, testing, and training for various SIGINT systems. The expert will be responsible for supporting the program objectives of systems like CESAS, TSCS, and MEGFoS, ensuring effective communication and operational support for the USMC SIGINT programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support on SIGINT hardware, software, and USMC Tactical SIGINT Concepts of Operation (CONOPS).
  • Offer SME support to SIS equipment and provide internal, external, and SIS communications support.
  • Deliver extensive SIGINT and worldwide operations knowledge to SME operators.
  • Support NIWC Atlantic during R&D, ad-hoc, and developmental testing events.
  • Provide technical guidance to NIWC Atlantic personnel to support program objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years of experience, or a Master's degree and twelve (12) years of experience in a related field.
  • Technical training in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or USMC Signals Intelligence Systems.
  • Fourteen (14) years of hands-on experience with SIGINT operations, including three of the following areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Recognized expert with demonstrated industry and/or military experience with Distributed Common Ground System or Signals Intelligence systems.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
