About the position

The Silicon Supplier Excellence Engineering Program Manager at Apple is a senior-level role focused on leading technical engagements between Apple and its silicon and IP suppliers. This position requires a strong engineering background to drive and influence the development of groundbreaking technologies, ensuring that all phases of silicon development are executed effectively and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical exchanges and direction with appropriate supplier teams including Architecture, Hardware Design, Software Design and Implementation, Product and Test, and Reliability Engineering.
• Lead hardware and software verification, validation, and qualification activities between Apple internal teams and suppliers.
• Oversee various joint efforts to ensure they complete on schedule.
• Filter and distill critical data from both internal and external technical and business partners into relevant information for data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field + 20 years relevant experience.
• Proven experience in digital and mixed-signal integrated circuit design and design automation tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated experience in digital, mixed-signal, analog, or memory integrated circuit design, fab, package, product, test, applications, or reliability engineering leadership.
• Strong communication and program management skills.
• Comfortable with dynamic schedule driven development, crisis management, and directing multi-functional debug efforts.
• Excellent verbal and written social skills.
