About the position

The Silicon & Systems Validation Engineer at Tesla Motors, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of hardware systems through rigorous validation processes. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute validation plans, analyze results, and drive improvements in hardware design and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation plans for silicon and systems hardware.
• Analyze validation results and provide feedback to design teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve hardware issues.
• Create and maintain documentation related to validation processes and results.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on hardware design improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with hardware validation processes and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with silicon design and validation tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI and robotics hardware validation.
• Knowledge of software development processes and tools.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
