About the position

The Server at Silverlake Ramen in Downey plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for guests. This position involves direct interaction with customers, taking orders, answering menu questions, and processing payments. The Server acts as an ambassador for the restaurant, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and attended to throughout their meal. Responsibilities

• Set up station and restock all necessary supplies and ingredients needed for service.
• Greet guests and say goodbye on the way out.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner that contributes to a positive dining experience.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients, allergens, and anything else relating to ordering.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately, repeating orders back to guests in a timely manner.
• Make suggestions and upsell whenever possible.
• Check in throughout the dining experience and anticipate guests' needs.
• Process payments.
• Complete side work.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach.

Requirements

• 2 years of restaurant experience (preferred).
• Valid Food Handler Certification (required).
• Ability to relocate to Downey, CA 90241 before starting work (required).
