At MITRE, we are dedicated to addressing our nation's most pressing challenges while ensuring the well-being of our employees. As a not-for-profit corporation, we operate without commercial conflicts, focusing solely on the public interest. Our R&D centers work on impactful projects across various fields, including cybersecurity, healthcare, aviation, defense, and enterprise transformation. We strive to create a safer, healthier, and more secure world through our innovative solutions and collaborative efforts. The Simulation, Experimentation, and Gaming Department (L142) at MITRE is a dynamic and agile team that designs, develops, and employs simulation and game-based solutions to tackle operational, engineering, and acquisition challenges for our sponsors. We provide a wide range of services, from consultation to the design and execution of simulation experiments, and the development of integrated engineering environments. Our department proudly serves all MITRE Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and maintains an active research and development program. In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to elicit sponsor requirements and determine the necessary simulation and integration requirements for mission success. You will be responsible for designing and developing simulations and federations of simulations, as well as decision support tools for various domains, including military and non-military contexts. Additionally, you will lead and participate in pre-exercise, execution, and post-execution activities for simulation and federated simulation use, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of our sponsors effectively.
