About the position
The Security Consultant/Designer role at FSK Consultancies and Information Technology involves collaborating with installation teams to design and implement comprehensive security solutions, particularly focusing on CCTV surveillance systems. The position requires technical expertise in hardware and network infrastructure to ensure effective integration and operational efficiency of security systems.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with installation teams to troubleshoot and address any issues that arise during installation.
- Create detailed technical designs, specifying hardware (cameras, NVRs/DVRs), network infrastructure, and integration with other security systems (access control, alarms).
- Develop customized CCTV surveillance system designs based on client requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key areas.
- Set up recording schedules, remote access, and event-triggered video capture to optimize storage and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement the underlying network architecture for IP-based CCTV systems, including switches, routers, and bandwidth considerations.
- Configure VLANs, firewalls, and network security protocols to safeguard video data and ensure uninterrupted transmission.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability between different hardware and software components, including hybrid systems (analog and IP cameras).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed CCTV systems, identifying and resolving hardware or software issues.
Requirements
- Mid-level experience in security system design and implementation.
- SIRA License (Required).
