About the position

The Site Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing all site acquisition activities related to specific projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with processes and procedures by service providers, measuring progress against established baselines, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. The manager will coordinate with various stakeholders, including external service providers and internal teams, to ensure successful project execution from RF design to the acceptance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Responsibilities

  • Manage all site acquisition activities including site file audits and RFDS reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Coordinate architectural and engineering (A&E) design services.
  • Evaluate engineering requirements through assessments or analyses.
  • Prepare and coordinate submittal documents for land leases and regulatory approvals.
  • Manage land lease notifications, including preparation, submission, and tracking of acknowledgments.
  • Facilitate land lease consent processes, ensuring documentation is submitted and tracked for acknowledgment.
  • Obtain regulatory approvals, including zoning and building permit submissions.
  • Identify and manage all work required to complete and acquire the NTP.
  • Coordinate the handoff of the NTP to the services delivery team.
  • Assist civil work and installation teams with land lease or regulatory agency interactions, including site access and design modifications.
  • Monitor service provider activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements and milestones for site acquisition.
  • Prepare regular progress reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in site acquisition and project management.
  • Strong understanding of RF design and propagation models.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and service providers.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing regulatory and land lease documents.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with zoning laws and regulatory processes.
  • Experience in telecommunications or related industries.
  • Project management certification.
