About the position

The Site Acquisition Project Manager (PM) role involves overseeing site acquisition processes across various regions, ensuring due diligence tasks are completed effectively. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to liaise with regional business developers and global infrastructure teams to maintain accurate site data and schedules. The role is critical in ensuring that site acquisitions meet technical requirements while minimizing risks and costs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Due Diligence tasks and documentation for assigned regions.
  • Conduct site tracking for North America, South America, Europe, Middle East/Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Liaise between Regional Business Developers (RBDs) and Global Infrastructure Program Management (GIPM) teams.
  • Communicate due diligence results to internal partners and external vendors.
  • Conduct and manage regional vendor set-up in Smartsheet.
  • Ensure vendors and internal stakeholders receive the latest program requirements documents.
  • Track and report on regional site and milestone status programmatically.
  • Attend Ground Infrastructure Project Management (GIPM) regional meetings.
  • Follow Procure to Pay processes and approvals for contracts and work orders.
  • Order and procure POs for due diligence or other site acquisition-related fees.
  • Populate site information in Smartsheet upon Site Candidate Information Package (SCIP) approval.
  • Request site codes and manage due diligence budget and schedule.
  • Maintain and update process documentation and operating procedures as needed.
  • Complete Reserved Site Order (RSO) and Provisioned Site Order (PSO) checklists with RBD approval.
  • Identify risks, ask pertinent questions, clear blockers, and escalate issues appropriately.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in site acquisition processes.
  • Due diligence experience in site assessments.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar project management tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with environmental assessments and risk management.
  • Familiarity with radio frequency interference and natural hazards risk assessments.
