About the position

The Site Affairs Business Operations Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of programs and projects at Pfizer's Groton and New Haven sites. This position combines business and project management skills to support day-to-day operations and engage with colleagues through various activities, including event planning and change management. The coordinator will work closely with the Site Affairs team and other business support colleagues to enhance collaboration and streamline operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive day-to-day operations and logistics for key interactions, meetings, and events in collaboration with Site Affairs Lead and Site Affairs Business Operations Lead.
  • Support the Revitalize Groton Site project by ensuring colleagues' needs are met through the change management process.
  • Assist the Site Affairs Communication Lead in delivering clear communications regarding site enhancements related to the Revitalize Groton Site Project.
  • Coordinate logistics and distribution lists for regular Change Champion meetings based on Site Operations' needs.
  • Maintain headcount data and locations with input from Global Workforce Experience (GWE) to ensure alignment with actual site population.
  • Provide support for site-wide programming at Groton, including events like monthly snack pop-ups, blood drives, and anniversary celebrations.
  • Manage bi-weekly site orientation scheduling and logistics, ensuring all communications and records are up to date.
  • Support end-to-end planning and execution of major site engagements and external community activations as needed.
  • Use discretion in managing information and stakeholders, seeking ways to improve collaboration across groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively develop creative ideas and new approaches to engage colleagues.
  • Experience with graphic design, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to counsel and influence various levels across the organization, from entry-level to senior leaders.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, and diverse environment.
