About the position

A&M Technologies is seeking a dedicated Site Asset Staff member to join our contract property management team. This full-time position is essential for supporting the logistics operations and ensuring the effective management of equipment within the customer network. The Site Asset Staff will be responsible for tracking the removal and addition of equipment, reporting updates to the procurement team, and maintaining the maintenance equipment list. This role requires a proactive approach to developing and maintaining processes and procedures for the logistics team, as well as assisting in the development and monitoring of training plans for team members. In addition to these responsibilities, the Site Asset Staff will monitor and report on the fulfillment of requirements for various customer reporting systems, including Confluence and SharePoint. The individual will assist logistics leads in managing worldwide logistics operations and provide support during customer supply chain management review audits. As a custodial property officer, the Site Asset Staff will approve equipment transfers for hub and tail sites and collaborate with the contract configuration management team and Tier II technicians to meet configuration management requirements. The role also involves developing site inventory plans, monitoring inventory status, and ensuring proper documentation for equipment disposal. The Site Asset Staff will track and report on return material authorization deliveries and ensure that all equipment is accurately added to or removed from maintenance lists. Regular collaboration with site personnel is crucial to maintain consumable property stock levels, and the individual will be responsible for tracking shipments and completing assigned training. This position may require travel of up to 30% of the year to manage equipment lifecycle at remote locations, and the successful candidate will establish and maintain a hardware and software maintenance database along with historical document records.

Responsibilities

  • Track the removal and addition of equipment to the customer network and report updates to the procurement team.
  • Develop and maintain the logistic team's processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and monitor the logistic team's training plans.
  • Monitor and report on fulfillment of requirements for various customer reporting systems (Confluence, SharePoint, HelpNow).
  • Assist logistics leads in managing worldwide logistics operations.
  • Provide support for all customer supply chain management review (SCMR) audits.
  • Approve equipment transfers for hub and tail sites as a custodial property officer (CPO).
  • Assist the contract configuration management team and Tier II technicians with configuration management requirements.
  • Develop site inventory plans and monitor/report on inventory status.
  • Track and monitor the disposal of equipment across the program, ensuring documentation is signed within established requirements.
  • Track and report on all return material authorization (RMA) deliveries and turn-ins at the sites, ensuring equipment is added to or removed from maintenance lists as necessary.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to ensure consumable property stock levels are maintained.
  • Track, trace, and update the status of shipments as needed.
  • Successfully conduct and complete all assigned training.

Requirements

  • Required Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly.
  • Candidate must have a high school diploma and 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of automated inventory control systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with data entry into SAP/AM.
  • Experience applying a continuous improvement approach in enhancing strategies for technology spending and tracking company assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, quality assurance/testing, manufacturing, installation) and product vendors.
  • Experience in ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability, and discharge of excess property.
  • Experience in physical inventorying equipment, proper labeling, tracking, and documenting the movement of IT equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and oversee program IT software from inception to phase-out.
  • Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware, with three or more years of experience in IT logistics.
  • Three years or more of ITSM tool experience, SAP asset management, and ServiceNow.
  • Ability to learn tasks quickly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to lift fifty pounds and carry for forty feet several times a day.
  • Ability to travel about 30% of the year and work under difficult conditions.
  • Strong communication skills, including written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with little to no supervision and adapt to changing priorities.
