About the position

Woolpert is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team, supporting full-time in-person or hybrid working arrangements across various locations in Ohio. The role involves designing site layout plans, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, and collaborating with project management teams to overcome project challenges. The engineer will also conduct site assessments and may require occasional fieldwork and travel.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Work with project management teams to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
• Perform occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel, as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of BS in Civil Engineering and 5 years related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification required.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow, and complete tasks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in hydraulics and hydrology preferred.
