The Site Civil Senior Engineer position at Cyntergy offers an opportunity to lead and manage civil engineering site development projects across various sectors, including federal, municipal, retail, commercial, healthcare, and industrial clients. The role emphasizes strong technical skills to address site development challenges while contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and team collaboration. The position involves overseeing large multi-million dollar projects and mentoring civil designers and technicians, ensuring timely and well-coordinated project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical completion of civil engineering site development projects.
• Define project scope and conduct feasibility studies.
• Develop design proposals and engineering reports.
• Review specifications and perform design calculations.
• Model systems and review geotechnical reports and site surveys.
• Conduct client review meetings and city development meetings.
• Prepare construction observation reports and formal meeting documentation.
• Respond to construction and bid requests for information.
• Collaborate with in-house and remote teams on project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in civil design.
• Strong technical skills in civil engineering and site development.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with current design trends and local codes.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3-D software.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Federal Facility Criteria - Whole Building Design Guide.
• Experience in preparing project proposals and estimating fees.
• Ability to accommodate overnight travel by car and air.
