About the position

The Site Coordinator for the After-School Enrichment Program at Brains and Motion Education is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, which includes leading structured play, providing homework assistance, and facilitating various STEAM and sports activities for students in grades K-8. This part-time, temporary position requires strong classroom management skills and the ability to work effectively with school-age children in a fun and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured play and homework assistance for students.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the after-school program.
• Facilitate a variety of STEAM and sports activities.
• Ensure a safe and engaging environment for students.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience working with school-age children.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Valid driver's license or State ID.
• Ability to pass CORI and SORI background check.
• Willingness to complete 10 hours of online training prior to start date.
