About the position

The Site Coordinator at Cascade Elementary for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County is responsible for managing the daily operations of the afterschool program, which serves students from grades K to 6. This role involves overseeing program activities, ensuring the safety and development of youth, supervising staff and volunteers, and maintaining effective communication with parents and the community. The coordinator will also be involved in planning and implementing programs that support youth development outcomes while providing a safe and engaging environment for participants.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage overall daily operations of the afterschool program.
• Plan and oversee programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes.
• Establish program objectives consistent with organizational goals and mission.
• Ensure members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities.
• Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety, and development of members.
• Allocate and monitor work assigned to program staff and volunteers.
• Identify and support training and development opportunities for assigned volunteers and staff.
• Oversee proper record keeping and reporting including activities and events conducted.
• Increase visibility of Club programs via posting of daily schedules and announcements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma or equivalent accreditation.
• Minimum of one year experience working in a youth center/afterschool program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Google Docs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications may be required.
• Valid State Driver's License.
