About the position

The Clinical Site Engagement Coordinator (Independent Contractor) role at Beaufort is focused on building and maintaining relationships with clinical research sites for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) studies. This position is remote and requires travel up to 40%. The coordinator will work closely with the Clinical Operations team to ensure compliance, quality, and operational efficiency throughout the study lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish partnerships with clinical study sites to enhance IVD study enrollment.
• Develop tools to assess site capabilities and conduct feasibility assessments for IVD studies.
• Lead contract negotiations to ensure alignment with study goals and compliance standards.
• Engage with sites throughout the study lifecycle to ensure adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to resolve site-related issues.
• Maintain a site database and utilize CRM tools like Salesforce.com for tracking site data.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline site engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in clinical research, focusing on IVD clinical trials.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain partnerships with clinical research sites.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial operations, including site selection and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com.
• Ability to work independently with high organization and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in site engagement and strategic alliance management within a CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech setting.
