About the position

The Site Finance Manager at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing financial, accounting, operational, and analytical tasks related to the fleet of over-the-road vehicles. This role supports various operating sites from the U.S. headquarters in Westerville, Ohio, and aims to enhance performance and process efficiency through financial insights and guidance. The position involves direct interaction with operational leaders and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly fleet reporting, analytics, and KPIs.
• Perform forecasting of lease and R&M costs based on current and projected fleet mix.
• Support fleet optimization strategies including replacement cycle and equipment rotation.
• Support equipment pricing for new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain cost models/allocations for lease and R&M costs.
• Ensure accurate calculation of accruals for equipment-related taxes and variable R&M expenses.
• Support annual target setting and budget processes regarding OTR equipment costs.
• Maintain and manage all components of the equipment pipeline.
• Support acquisition of new and disposition of old units; manage equipment renewals to minimize over-term costs.
• Supervise Fleet Business Analyst, overseeing invoice processing and cost allocations.
• Perform repair vs. replace assessments for individual units and fleet segments.
• Help determine costs and benefits associated with technological systems and ensure accurate reflection in fleet forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance field required.
• 5+ years experience in Accounting or Financial Reporting role required.
• Previous logistics/warehouse experience preferred.
