About the position

The Site Installation Project Manager at Siemens is responsible for overseeing the installation of HVAC controls projects, ensuring that specifications and project intents are met. This role involves developing project schedules, managing resources, and coordinating billing processes, all while maintaining a focus on creating efficient and responsible environments through technology.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team.
• Identify time-sensitive installation needs.
• Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Track resources and project progress.
• Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing, working with the accounting team and Operations Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or state-recognized high school proficiency exam.
• Minimum of 4 years of Project Management experience in the HVAC controls industry or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of HVAC industry applications; ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to travel 35% of the time.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Project.
