About the position

Eaton's IT team is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Analyst to provide end-user support and manage device lifecycles at the Indianapolis facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies while assisting both local and remote users, including executive leadership. The analyst will be responsible for deploying and configuring hardware and software, following IT Service Management processes, and participating in IT initiatives and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end user support and device lifecycle management.
  • Deploy, configure, and support hardware and software for end users.
  • Follow IT Service Management processes including asset, change, incident, request, and problem management.
  • Participate in the annual refresh of the IT disaster recovery plan.
  • Assist with support of site-based IT systems and manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve larger IT issues under supervision.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in IT processes.
  • Liaison between IT and users to drive IT standards and increase user satisfaction.
  • Participate in internal audits related to IT processes and systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 2 years of Information Technology (IT) experience required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suites - PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook.
  • Intermediate knowledge of hardware and IT infrastructure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to adapt and learn in complex IT environments.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL) processes.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
