About the position

The Site Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a small site, ensuring that customer service expectations are met and that the facility operates efficiently. This role acts as the primary point of contact for customer issues and contract compliance, particularly in the absence of a Site Manager. The Site Leader manages a small team, handles training and development, and ensures adherence to service level agreements while maintaining profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for daily operations of a mail room, copy center, or scanning facility.
  • Operate office equipment such as PCs, copiers, multifunction devices, imaging, and mail equipment.
  • Assist with courier services, reception services, switchboard operations, shipping & receiving, and mail processing.
  • Act as a go-to person for a small team, assisting with job assignments and scheduling projects.
  • Serve as the point person for customer issues and contract compliance.
  • Train and develop assigned staff.
  • Handle formal contact with the customer on a daily basis.
  • Implement and manage RICOH Service Excellence programs effectively.
  • Analyze problems with minimum guidance and manage resolutions.
  • Understand and track compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements.
  • Assist leadership with recruiting, staffing, and performance management.
  • Maintain positive internal working relationships through professional communication.
  • Provide training on workflow and machine operations as necessary.
  • Achieve shift profitability by supervising the use of company materials and supplies.
  • Meet quality and deadline standards through effective job scheduling practices.
  • Hold team members accountable for quality and efficiency of their work.
  • Facilitate resolution of pricing and order issues by communicating with the sales department.
  • Complete site reports and other paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Maintain daily routine functions including work orders and contractor monitoring.
  • Interact with contracted vendors and facility management as needed.
  • Manage office supply inventory re-ordering and conference room coordination.
  • Complete month-end management reports in the absence of the Site Manager.
  • Assist with training and development of site personnel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field (B2B and/or technical).
  • Previous training experience strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing work experience required.
  • Demonstrated proficient knowledge and understanding of technology.
