About the position

The Site Manager II is responsible for overseeing the sanitation crew, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards at customer facilities. This role involves daily operational management, including hiring, training, and maintaining team performance, while also serving as the primary contact for customers and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of the sanitation crew.
• Manage the budget including payroll and supplies.
• Bill customers for services rendered.
• Interview, hire, and train staff.
• Set and adjust pay rates and hours for team members.
• Plan and direct work to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
• Handle team member complaints and grievances.
• Monitor and report on operational issues and improvement plans.
• Communicate daily with Area Manager and Corporate office regarding operational matters.
• Complete weekly internal safety audits.
• Set and track specific goals for the sanitation crew.
• Ensure compliance with internal company procedures and policies.
• Implement PSSI training programs including safety training.
• Coordinate responses to governmental or customer deficiencies.
• Report and investigate all accidents.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• Six months to one year of related sanitation experience.
• General working knowledge of computers/technology (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Word).
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.
