About the position

The Site PEAK Sr Analyst position at Newell Brands is a pivotal role within the company's Supply Chain evolution, focusing on enhancing productivity through the development of capabilities in people, processes, and technology. This role is integral to the PEAK initiative, Newell's branded improvement strategy, which aims to drive operational excellence in factory and warehouse settings. The PEAK Sr Analyst will work closely with both site and central PEAK teams to provide training, coaching, and business support, ensuring the effective deployment of PEAK PACS tools and methods. This includes Lean Sigma Optimization, Equipment & Facility Ownership, and Results & Skills Leadership, all aimed at achieving significant business results. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for guiding and aligning efforts in support of the global PEAK Agenda. They will support pilot sites in the development and deployment of PEAK PACS tools, fostering key relationships across various functions to build the necessary internal capabilities for critical initiatives. The analyst will also provide analytics and business intelligence to aid in project selection, root-cause analysis, and project validation, ensuring that PEAK initiatives are not only impactful in terms of results but also contribute to a cultural shift within the organization. The successful candidate will manage an integrated project plan to drive implementation and deliver business results, ensuring that PEAK work is effectively linked to individual and team activities, ultimately addressing losses and meeting business needs. This role requires a proactive approach to capability building, total employee involvement, and the successful implementation of large capital projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and alignment in support of the global PEAK Agenda
  • Integrate with the current site and central PEAK teams in performing training, coaching, business support, and PEAK PACS deployment activities
  • Support pilot sites in development & deployment of PEAK PACS tools and methods to drive business results
  • Build the capability of the key internal resources needed to deliver on critical initiatives
  • Foster key relationships with various functions
  • Provide analytics and business intelligence to support project selection, root-cause analysis, project validation, etc.
  • Provide and manage an integrated project plan to drive implementation and deliver business results
  • Ensure that PEAK work is impacting both results, and the culture change including capability building for setting, tracking and problem-solving measures
  • Total employee involvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • At least 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience leading a project or managing a timeline
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team (Directly or Indirectly)
  • Experienced working in a factory or warehouse with automation and systems
  • Experience with a Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Proven leader, team member and collaborator
