About the position

The Site Performance Analyst at Cox Communications is responsible for analyzing website data, user behavior, and conversion metrics to enhance the online presence of the company. This role focuses on utilizing heat mapping tools and web analytics to derive insights that will optimize user experience and improve website performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience in digital marketing analytics, particularly in the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze website performance metrics, including traffic, bounce rates, conversion rates, and user engagement.
  • Utilize heat mapping tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg) to understand user behavior and identify areas for optimization.
  • Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to evaluate the effectiveness of website changes and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to implement changes based on data insights and user feedback.
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor SEO performance and identify opportunities for improvement in website visibility and user experience.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to enhance website performance strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support campaign performance analysis and optimization.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, with a focus on website performance.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and heat mapping software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with A/B testing and familiarity with tools such as Optimizely or VWO.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.).
  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
