About the position

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of an established food delivery service's e-commerce platform, particularly during the busy holiday season. The position involves working with Azure services and requires a commitment to a hybrid work schedule of four days a week on-site. The SRE will be responsible for monitoring the platform, automating cloud environments, and innovating solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the e-commerce platform using Datadog and other monitoring tools.
• Automate the cloud environment in Azure.
• Innovate and implement new concepts to improve system reliability.
• Work on customer-facing projects to enhance user experience.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE.
• Extensive experience with Datadog and other monitoring tools.
• Considerable work in Azure cloud and its services.
• Substantial experience in creating CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Scripting/coding background with Java.

Nice-to-haves

• Open to commuting 4 days a week to the Atlanta office.
• Background in .NET.
• Experience monitoring environments with customer-facing e-commerce platforms.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
