Responsibilities
- Develop automation scripts to reduce manual intervention in operations.
- Implement monitoring and alerting strategies for infrastructure and applications.
- Participate in incident response and post-mortem analyses.
- Work with development teams to design resilient systems and implement SRE best practices.
- Handle infrastructure reliability tasks and small-scale automation efforts independently.
- Work with development and operations teams to improve service availability.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reliability engineering.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of work experience in a Site Reliability Engineering / Platform Engineering / DevOps role or similar.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), monitoring and observability, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, incident management, and troubleshooting.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is beneficial.
