Responsibilities

  • Develop automation scripts to reduce manual intervention in operations.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting strategies for infrastructure and applications.
  • Participate in incident response and post-mortem analyses.
  • Work with development teams to design resilient systems and implement SRE best practices.
  • Handle infrastructure reliability tasks and small-scale automation efforts independently.
  • Work with development and operations teams to improve service availability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reliability engineering.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a Site Reliability Engineering / Platform Engineering / DevOps role or similar.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), monitoring and observability, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, incident management, and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is beneficial.
