About the position

Join Atlassian as a Summer 2025 Intern in the Site Reliability team, where you'll have the opportunity to work on production systems that serve millions of customers worldwide. This paid internship program runs for 12 weeks and is designed for entry-level candidates who are currently enrolled in a full-time degree program. You'll gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, using your programming skills to solve complex problems and contribute to the development of software that enhances team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Work on production systems that serve millions of customers worldwide.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues in production systems.
• Gain deep technical knowledge in automation, monitoring, and virtualized delivery systems.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain services and performance.
• Utilize data collection, enrichment, analytics, and visualizations to understand system operations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the internship, graduating by June 2026.
• Experience programming in Go, Java, Ruby, or Python.
• Ability to collaborate with team members remotely.
• Interest in industry trends related to technology, methods, and tooling.
• Experience with scripting to avoid repetitive work.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to a full-time (40 hours/week) internship during Summer 2025.
