About the position

The Site Reliability Engineer Lead is responsible for leading SRE efforts with a focus on cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and utilizing tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes (EKS). This role involves developing reusable Terraform modules, automating infrastructure, mentoring team members, and promoting best practices in security and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE efforts with hands-on AWS, Terraform, and EKS.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and troubleshoot/customize scripts.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and apply core Terraform fundamentals.
• Mentor team members on Terraform and AWS best practices.
• Design and deploy scalable Kubernetes clusters.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve AWS infrastructure issues.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes.
• Promote security best practices for Kubernetes and container orchestration tools like Docker and Helm.

Requirements

• Expertise in cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, including scripting.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, particularly EKS.
• Strong skills in Python or shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS services (EC2, IAM, Route 53).
