KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, and we are always looking to build our Network Linux Engineering talent community. Although we do not currently have an opening, we are interested in learning about your background for future opportunities. As a Network Linux Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Infrastructure Architecture Teams as we transition our High-Performance Computing (HPC) from infancy to enterprise through various Digital Transformation Initiatives. Your responsibilities will include identifying and assessing developer requirements, uncovering solutions, and recommending, planning, and driving these solutions to production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring various network tools and will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and maintaining a robust and scalable network infrastructure. In this role, you will be tasked with designing and implementing network architectures that meet business requirements. You will lead and maintain OpenVPN configurations for secure remote access, configure Nginx as a reverse proxy and load balancer, and implement HAProxy for high availability and scalability. Additionally, you will bridge virtual networks to ensure detailed communication between segments and design and deploy Kubernetes (K8s) networking configurations for containerized applications. Solving network issues using tools like Wireshark, Tcpdump, and NetFlow will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with other teams to develop and implement network-related projects is essential, as is staying up-to-date with the latest Linux distributions, network technologies, and security standard processes.
