As a Network Linux Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Infrastructure Architecture Teams as we transition our High-Performance Computing (HPC) from infancy to enterprise through various Digital Transformation Initiatives. This position is not currently open, but we are interested in learning about your background for future opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network architectures that meet business requirements. You will lead and maintain OpenVPN configurations to ensure secure remote access, configure Nginx as a reverse proxy and load balancer, and implement HAProxy for high availability and scalability. Additionally, you will bridge virtual networks to ensure detailed communication between segments and design and deploy Kubernetes (K8s) networking configurations for containerized applications. Your expertise will be essential in solving network issues using tools like Wireshark, Tcpdump, and NetFlow, and you will collaborate with other teams to develop and implement network-related projects. Staying up-to-date with the latest Linux distributions, network technologies, and security standard processes will be vital to your success in this position. The ideal candidate will have a validated background in network architecture and management, with hands-on experience configuring various network tools.
