As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) within the Ads Infra team of US Tech Services, you will be responsible for building and maintaining large-scale, globally distributed, fault-tolerant ad systems. Your primary focus will be to ensure these systems are operational with the highest level of availability, thereby providing users with the best experience possible. This role requires a proactive approach to enhancing collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, and it follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring employees to work in the office three days a week, or as directed by their manager or department. The hybrid work model is regularly reviewed, and specific requirements may change at any time. In this role, you will engage in and improve the reliability, scalability, and release cycle of TikTok Ads. You will deliver tools and software to enhance the reliability and scalability of services, measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall service health, and practice sustainable incident response and postmortems. Participation in on-call rotations across continents is also a key aspect of this position.
