About the position

As a Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of Fulfillment Technology solutions to support an omni-channel strategy. This role involves close collaboration with development, testing, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient solutions for production environments. You will troubleshoot production issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and cloud computing.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of Fulfillment Technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to design and implement solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems using various tools and techniques.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices and processes.
  • Drive root-cause analysis of critical business and production issues.
  • Lead Major Incident calls and provide updates on service restoration.
  • Work with engineering teams to improve build environments and increase automation.
  • Build logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for system behavior analysis.
  • Participate in an off-hours on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure or related fields.
  • 4+ years experience with databases, web applications, micro-services, and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Cassandra & SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python / Shell scripting.
  • 1 year of experience managing System Observability tools (DynaTrace, ELK, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with GitActions for CI/CD automations.
  • Knowledge of Linux architecture, security, and performance monitoring.
  • Demonstrated skill in working in an Agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree or PhD in computer science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in high volume eCommerce applications.
  • 2+ years of experience configuring and managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with technologies such as Apache Kafka, Azure Cosmos DB, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
