About the position

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at V2Soft is responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of production environments. This role involves monitoring system health, supporting applications through an OnCall rotation, and driving automation to eliminate manual tasks. The SRE will also focus on implementing Service Level Objectives (SLOs), maintaining runbook standards, and enhancing observability across systems to facilitate rapid feature development.

Responsibilities

  • Run the production environment by monitoring availability and system health.
  • Support applications with OnCall rotation support.
  • Provide stability to applications and facilitate rapid feature development.
  • Automate and eliminate manual work, seeking opportunities for automation.
  • Maintain and implement SLO adoption and automation.
  • Conduct production readiness assessments and health scoring.
  • Track error budgets and maintain runbook standards.

Requirements

  • Experience using DevOps tools and technologies such as GitLab.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with observability monitoring tools.
  • Proactive approach to observability maturity and performance bottlenecks identification.
  • Experience leading incident response and supporting application teams.
  • Ability to conduct blameless postmortems and provide developer feedback for enhanced logging.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and API gateways.
  • Experience developing APIs, Microservices, or Frontend applications is a plus.
  • Experience using source version control (SVC) such as Git.
