About the position

As a Site Reliability Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining the reliability and survivability of mission-critical resources within the Space and Intelligence Systems line of business. This role emphasizes ensuring system uptime, automating systems administration activities, and troubleshooting enterprise services, all while fostering a collaborative environment and providing technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uptime of critical systems
• Automate systems administration activities
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise services
• Administer Linux systems
• Provide technical leadership and support to team members
• Champion new ideas and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required
