The SRE is tasked with maintaining the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of critical applications, ensuring an impressive uptime of 99.9%. This position is crucial for managing the firm's critical application portfolio and directly impacts the overall operational success of the organization. In addition to technical responsibilities, the SRE role offers opportunities for professional growth and skill development. Responsibilities

  • Build and run reliable production systems in cloud environments.
  • Manage availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in different domains to deliver dynamic solutions.
  • Ensure 99.9% uptime for critical applications.
  • Engage in incident management and continual improvement processes.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Java and/or .NET, Angular, Oracle, Unix/Linux, Windows server.
  • Experience with Web Services (mainly REST), MQs, Tomcat, Apache, WebLogic, IIS.
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps technologies and Cloud (AWS).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong working experience with AWS Cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Ansible, Splunk, and Akamai.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools, particularly Maven, GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
