About the position
The Job Site Health and Safety Coordinator position is currently available in Idaho, focusing on ensuring safety on commercial and/or industrial construction sites. The coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the overall safety program by interacting with project management and subcontractors. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
Responsibilities
- Training, implementation and monitoring safety policies and procedures on the job site
- Conducting site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
- Developing and maintaining safety documentation, including incident reports and safety protocols
- Collaborating with project management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Providing guidance and support to subcontractors and site personnel on safety procedures and protocols
- Identifying and addressing safety concerns and near-miss incidents
- Maintaining accurate records of safety incidents, near-misses, and training activities
- Participating in safety meetings and contributing to the development of safety plans and procedures
